Stars light the night sky, they are worn as a badge of honor, they are people we admire. Stars rise, stars fall, stars shoot. Beautiful glimmers of a world larger than our little planet. First came my steel stars, then clay and steel. My 'star' installations are some form of constellation. Orbiting to nowhere, redefining a gallery space, making you more aware of the walls, ceiling and floor. I use the unusable; bent nails, scraps of rebar, found bits and pieces of steel. I make them beautiful, whimsical.
